DAY 01 DELHI - ARRIVE
Your arrival at Delhi International Airport is followed by your reception by our tour representative, who will also be in charge of your safe and comfortable transference to the hotel. This kicks off your Highlights of Rajasthan with Taj and Ganges with Indianholiday. The night is to be spent at the hotel.
DAY 02 DELHI
The second day of the Highlights of Rajasthan with Taj and Ganges is devoted to the city tour that will include visits to the popular landmarks of the city like the Laxmi Narayan Temple, India Gate, Parliament House, Red Fort and the Gandhi memorial. You will also get to pay visit to the Qutab Minar Complex and Humayun's Tomb as well. After an exhausting day out, you will be coming back to the hotel for night stay.
DAY 03 DELHI/ JODHPUR - By Flight
On the third day of the Highlights of Rajasthan with Taj and Ganges tour, you will be transferred to the airport to board the flight bound for Jodhpur, post-breakfast. On your arrival at the airport you will get to meet our representative who will also be responsible for transferring you to the hotel.
In the afternoon you will be embarking on a city sightseeing jaunt. You will be paying visits to the Mehrangarh fort, which is counted among the largest forts of India. The city is dotted with a plethora of palaces and forts that incorporate sprawling courtyards. You will be paying visits to the exquisitely carved Jaswanthada which dates back to the 19th century.
Night stay is scheduled at the hotel.
DAY 04 JODHPUR / JAISALMER
On the fourth day of the Tour of Highlights of Rajasthan with Taj and Ganges, you will be driving to Jaisalmer after having your morning breakfast. Arrival and check-in at the Hotel. Revel in the hotel and enjoy the camel ride in the sand dunes of Jaisalmer.
Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
DAY 05 JAISALMER
The fifth day morning is dedicated to the sightseeing of Jaisalmer. We will be accompanying you on a visit to the Jaisalmer Fort being perched atop the Tricuta hill, Sun Gate. Among the other popular highlights of the trip are included the Megh Durbar and various temples, Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli and Patwon-Ki-Haveli. These are the magnificent mansions graced with intricate stone carving and lattice work Lodurva is counted as a masterpiece of architectural magnificence.
The night is to be spent at the hotel.
DAY 06 JAISALMER / ROHET
On the sixth day morning you will be proceeding to Rohet by road after having your breakfast. On your arrival, you need to check in at the Hotel. You will be spending a relaxed stay in the hotel in the afternoon. The night is to be spent at the hotel.
DAY 07 ROHET / UDAIPUR
The next day will see you heading for Udaipur by road. Along the way, we will be stopping at the renowned Ranakpur Jain Temples. Ranakpur is a renowned Jain pilgrim center whose origins can be traced back to the 15th century. One remarkable feature about the temples is that their architectural pattern closely resembles that of the Khajuraho Temples. Your arrival at Udaipur is followed by your checking in at the hotel where you will be spending the night.
DAY 08 UDAIPUR
On the eighth day of the Highlights of Rajasthan with Taj and Ganges tour, you will be taking a tour of Udaipur and visiting places that make it famous. Among these are included Saheliyon-Ki-Bari, Jagdish temple, City Palace located to the side of Lake Pichola and the Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir also known as the Folk Art Museum. In the evening an exhilarating boat ride is scheduled in Lake Pichola. The night is to be spent at the hotel.
DAY 09 UDAIPUR / JAIPUR- BY FLIGHT
The ninth morning is spent in a relaxing way at the hotel room. This is followed by your transference to the airport where you will be boarding the flight for Jaipur. On your arrival, you will be received by our representative who will transfer you to the hotel.
The night is to be spent at the hotel.
DAY 10 JAIPUR
The tenth day of the Highlights of Rajasthan with Taj and Ganges features a morning visit to Amer Fort. You will also get to experience the thrill of an elephant ride.
The afternoon is slated for a city sightseeing tour. This will incorporate visits to the City Palace which is considered an eclectic blend of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture. The Royal Observatory is one of the highly popular tourist draws. The night stay is scheduled at the hotel.
DAY 11 JAIPUR / AGRA
On the eleventh day morning, you will be driving to Agra in the morning, right after breakfast. Along the way, you will be paying visit to Fatehpur Sikri which is a quaint and abandoned town of the Mughal Dynasty. Among the other popular sites that you will get to pay visit to are included Jama Masjid, The Buland Darwaza, Palace of Jodha Bai, Birbal Bhawan and Panch Mahal. You are required to check into the hotel on your arrival at Agra.
DAY 12 / AGRA / VARANASI - OVER NIGHT TRAIN
On the twelfth day of the Highlights of Rajasthan with Taj and Ganges tour, you will be embarking on the sightseeing jaunt of Agra after having a filling breakfast. You will be visiting Taj Mahal, the monument of Love. Among the other popular highlights are included the Red Fort and Itmad-ud-Daula's Tomb. In the evening, you will be transferred to the Tundla Railway Station to board the train bound for Varanasi.
The night is to be spent on the train itself.
DAY 13 VARANASI
On the thirteenth day of the tour, you will be arriving at Varanasi where you will be received by our representative who will also transfer you to the hotel. Checking in to the hotel is followed by the sightseeing of Varanasi that will incorporate visits to Kashi Vishwanath Mandir, Banaras Hindu University, Durga Mandir, Sankat Mochan Mandir and Tulsi Manas Mandir. Late in the afternoon, you will be going to shop for Varanasi Silks, Brocade and souvenirs.
The evening can be spent by witnessing the Aarti performance at the bank of the Ganges. The night is to be spent at the hotel.
DAY 14 VARANASI / DELHI - by flight
On the penultimate day of the tour, you will find yourself driving to Daswamedh Ghat early in the morning. You will also immensely enjoy the boat ride on the sacred river Ganges. You will be returning back to the hotel for your breakfast.
This is followed by a visit to the buried Buddhist city of Sarnath which is located just outside Varanasi. You will get to visit the ruins of what once used to be an affluent Buddhist monastery. This is followed by your paying visit to the museum that has a remarkable collection of Buddhist art and sculpture.
In the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport to board a connecting flight for Delhi. On your arrival you will be transferred to the hotel where you are going to spend the night.
DAY 15 DELHI - DEPARTURE
The fifteenth day brings you to the end of the tour. You will be departing for Delhi. On reaching Delhi, you will be transferred to the International airport for boarding the flight for your next destination.
