Day 01: Delhi
On your arrival at Delhi, you will be guided by our representatives, who will assist you from the International Airport. From the Airport you will be checked into a hotel. You will have your dinner at the hotel and spend the night there.
Day 02: Delhi - Agra – Delhi
After breakfast, we will be traveling to Agra by bus. Agra is around 210 km and it will take approximately 4 to 5 hours to reach there. There, we will first visit the Mughal architectural excellence Taj Mahal (it is closed on Fridays). The Taj Mahal at Agra is one of the finest monuments in Agra built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal. After visiting Taj Mahal, we will be visiting the Agra Fort, which is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Then we will again drive back to Delhi where we will spend the night in the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi – Pathankot
After the morning breakfast in the hotel we will have a guided tour to Old Delhi and New Delhi where we will visit IndianParliament, India Gate, Raj Ghat, Qutub Minar, Humayun Tomb, Jama Masjid and the Red Fort. From there, you will be transferred to the railway station, from where we will be boarding a train to Pathankot. The entire night will be spent on board.
Day 04: Pathankot - Dharamshala
On reaching Pathankot Railway Station, we will drive you to Dharmshala. The distance is around 90 km and it will take approximately take 2 to 3 hours to reach there. Dharmshala is a small town with Tibetan refugee settlements, where one can see monks in their robes walking with prayer beads in their hands and turning the prayer wheels. Here the most important place is the Namgyal Monastry, popularly known as the Dalai Lama Temple. Later in the afternoon we will visit the Monastery of His Highness Dalai Lama and spend the night at a hotel.
Day 05: Dharmshala
After having the breakfast at the hotel, we will spend the morning in leisure activities. In the afternoon, we will visit the Baijnath Temple which houses one of the Jyothirlingas. Rest of the day we will spend in leisure activities. We will spend the night at the hotel.
Day 06: Dharamshala - Pathankot – Delhi
After having the morning breakfast, we will drive to Pathankot Railway Station, from where we will board a train for Delhi. The entire night will be spent on board.
Day 07: Arrival at Delhi
On arrival at Delhi, our representatives will assist you to get transferred to a hotel where you will be checked-in. Later in the afternoon, we will be visiting Red Fort – Built of Red Sandstone, Jama Masjid - Asia’s largest mosque, and the Gandhi Museum – the memoir of Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. We will also be visiting India Gate, Parliament House and Humayun’s Tomb. Later in the evening, assistance will be provided to transfer you to the International Airport from where you will board your flight to reach your home destination.
